Asheville offers plenty to photograph beyond the mountain scenery that surrounds it. In this collection, my camera follows the details of the city itself: brick and stone buildings, classic vehicles, and small green spaces tucked between the streets.

The architecture gives the photographs a strong sense of place. A tall building rises above the surrounding blocks, while a red-brick church brings a different rhythm with its twin towers and arched openings. Even an ordinary street corner becomes interesting when the signs, windows, and building lines come together.

The old cars add color and personality. I especially like the contrast between the dark vintage Ford and the bright yellow pickup, each offering a different combination of curves, polished surfaces, and character.

A garden entrance provides a quieter ending to this photo walk. Taken together, these images show the pleasure of looking around a city without needing every stop to be a major landmark. Asheville's details make their own story.
