Some photographs bring back a place; these bring back the energy of an entire arena. My pictures from the Final Four in New Orleans follow Kentucky from the action on the court to a celebration filled with blue and white.
The wide views are a big part of the story. The court sits at the center of a sea of fans, with banners overhead and Kentucky flags spreading across the floor. From the stands, the players look small against the size of the event, but the movement and anticipation still come through.
The celebration photographs change the mood completely. Confetti fills the air, the scoreboard announces the national champions, and the attention shifts toward the basket as the nets come down. Together, those details capture the excitement better than any single frame could.
I chose this small collection to show the progression from basketball to celebration. It is a different kind of photo journey from a trail or scenic overlook, but just as much about remembering the atmosphere of a place.
