I had been planning to visit the Santa Monica Pier for months with all my visits to LA, and finally, the chance to go had arrived. I was excited to explore this iconic landmark and capture some amazing pictures to remember my visit.

As I walked along the pier, I was struck by the incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. The sun was shining down on the water, creating a sparkling effect that was just breathtaking. I stopped to take some pictures of the ocean and the pier from different angles, trying to capture every detail of this beautiful place.

The Santa Monica Pier is home to Pacific Park, an amusement park with a variety of rides and attractions. I was drawn to the Ferris wheel and couldn't wait to take a ride on it. I snapped some pictures from the top, capturing the stunning views of the ocean and the cityscape beyond.

But the highlight of my visit was discovering that the Santa Monica Pier marks the end of Route 66, the iconic highway that spans over 2,400 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica. I had always been fascinated by this historic road, and standing at its endpoint was a surreal experience. I took a picture of the "End of the Trail" sign and felt a sense of accomplishment, having traveled the length of this legendary route in my own way.

Overall, my visit to the Santa Monica Pier was an incredible experience, and the pictures I took will always remind me of the beauty and history of this iconic landmark.
