Tabletop is a short route out to a stellar viewpoint. Although it's fairly level, the trail is lined with prickly pear cactus and has more than enough medium sized boulders to keep you on your toes. A little diversion off the Airport Loop, then you'll be rewarded with a great view of Oak Creek Canyon and Cathedral Rock.
While it was extremely cloudy the day I was able to hike the tabletop trail, it still was able to offer some amazing views of the surrounding valleys and monumental rocks, like Bell and Cathedral rock.
The trail is quite short and easy for people who do not want to spend hours on a trail or you just want something simple, this is the one for you. I did it after a long day of hiking other trails and was a great way to cap off the day.
