Back in 2018 when the Terracotta Army came to Cincinnati I had to get my ass to the Cincinnati Art museum to see it. I have had always wanted to get to China and this is on the list to see when I get there, but for the short term it coming to me is a decent option.
I will still of course get there and see it in China, we just have to get this pandemic past us and I can plan a nice 2+ week vacation to see everything on the list and its a long list.
For those that do not know about the Terracotta Army. They are a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of the first emperor of China. There a thousands of figures, horses, chariots, everything you would find in the army at the time. The level of detail that went into each of these sculptures is amazing. All unique in their own way, no two alike, The artists who sculpted them spending a lifetime of skill creating such masterpieces.
The collection that made it to Cincinnati is just a small piece of the overall collection (why I still must go to China), but was still worth getting down to see. If you get a chance to see it in your city I recommend heading out to it.
Hope everyone enjoys the pictures.
